Our founder Quiera Dover watched many patients, seniors and clients with intellectual disabilities fight to gain independence and decline in their ability to do for themselves. Quiera found that most seniors want to be in the comfort of their home and would be happier if help with care can be provided at home. And most clients with intellectual disabilities living in residential homes if good care is provided it makes a big difference in the individuals lives.

Quiera has over 11 years in this field, and enjoy making a difference in people lives, Quiera was determined to provide the best care to any patient that she served. Quiera remember going to the nursing home visiting her grandmother when arriving her grandmother hygiene was poorly, and her grandmother could not speak, but she can feel that she was communicating that she was not being care for right.

After the passing of her grandmother, Quiera then decided that she would start her own homecare agency and provide effective and innovative services that will empower your loved ones as they work to achieve their highest level of independence. Joining Hands and its staff understands that empathy, resilience and love will increase the value of daily living.
